A play means someone hit the mic, not the search bar. We've also stripped one obvious data error: Despacito by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee was wrongly tagged as Portuguese — it's Spanish, so it's been removed from this ranking.
Portuguese-language karaoke is two scenes singing the same lyrics. São Paulo bars belt Ai Se Eu Te Pego on Friday nights; Lisbon crowds shout along to A Minha Casinha until last orders.
