Eurovision season 2023 is well underway, with all countries haven chosen their song and act. Finland is no exception and the first songs of the Finnish national selection, UMK. UMK took place on February 25th at 9:00 PM EET. And with both the tele-vote and Jury Cha Cha Cha – Käärijä took home the gold and will go to Liverpool to represent Finland in Liverpool.

This was defintley one of the fiercest Finnish national selections ever.

Here are the 7 UMK songs that competed for Eurovision 2023:

1. No Business On The Dancefloor – Keira

The first official release of the UMK season. The song meant to get everyone moving and dancing, and it sure does that!

2. Hoida Mut – Benjamin

Benjamin is no stranger to international success, his career kicked-off  in 2014 when single “Underdogs” reached the top of the charts in Spain. Will his song reach across Europe this time?

3. Girls Like You – Robin

Robin is one of the biggest pop superstars in Finland, his entry into UMK has been long wished for.

4. Something To Lose – Lxandra

Lxandra is a rising talent, who will be bringing a captivating ballad to the competition.

5. Cha Cha Cha – Käärijä

Cha Cha Cha has been described as an electro-pop rock-rap song, so we can expect a fun entry for sure.

6. Ylivoimainen – KUUMAA

KUUMAA will be bringing an indie-pop song to the competition. It will for sure be a great vibe.

7. Samaa Taivasta Katsotaan – Portion Boys

The Portion Boys are a classic at Finnish parties and are a house-hold name across Finland. They are sure to bring lots of energy and fun.
