This cellar
a home for
a sleeping Cinderella
The sweetness
of silence
at the edge of forever
No longer
a human
but dweller of the stars
A bauble of memory
engraved in it their hurt
Deep
lies the last of her
left behind
Shieldmaiden in the night
of human mind
See and remember her
the girl next door
Thousands of winters
turned spring eve in her eyes
away from darkness
where she alone gave light
We leave you to sleep now
in sanguine silence no more
and hope for the world
to know your unsung story
Deep
lies the last of her
left behind
Shieldmaiden in the night
of human mind
See and remember her
the girl next door
Deep
lies the last of her
left behind
Shieldmaiden in the night
of human mind
See and remember her
the girl next door
Deep
lies the last of her
left behind
Shieldmaiden in the night
of human mind
See and remember her
the girl next door
