I started out
to walk in the light
Shinin' upon me
from heaven so bright
I bade this world
And its follies adieu
Lord I started in Jesus
And I'm goin' through
I'm goin' through
Yes I'm goin' through
I'll pay the price
Whatever others do
I'll take this way
with my Lord's despised few
I have started in Jesus
And I'm goin' through
I'd rather walk
with Jesus alone
Have for my pillow
like Jacob a stone
Livin' each moment
with his face in my view
Lord I started in Jesus
And I'm goin' through
I'm goin' through
Yes I'm goin' through
I'll pay the price
Whatever others do
I'll take this way
with my Lord's despised few
I have started in Jesus
And I'm goin' through
