10 most popular Linkin Park karaoke songs

One of the most influential bands of the last 20 years, Linkin Park became the undisputed gods of nu-metal-rap-rock with the release of their debut album, Hybrid Theory, in 2000. Since then, the trajectory of their meteoric rise was offset by the death of lead singer Chester Bennington in 2017 – but, as expected, the remaining band members showed resilience following a 7-year hiatus, carrying the torch forward with a new frontwoman and a new album set be released in late 2024.

But in the meantime, their catalogue of songs remain immensely admired by karaoke fans. We’ve collected song plays from Singa users across the world to find the most popular Linkin Park songs for karaoke. Check out our top 10 list. The 10 best Linkin Park karaoke songs

1. In The End

It’s wild to think that “In the End” was released as the band’s fourth single in 2001 – almost a year after Hybrid Theory was released – and that it STILL managed to become as huge as it did. That’s testament to the iconic instrumentation and lyrical skill featured throughout. One of the top 100 most streamed songs of all time on Spotify, this absolute banger of a track has since been certified Diamond and remains the band’s undisputed greatest track, and greatest karaoke song.

2. Numb

From its instantly recognizable opening notes to its heavy subject matter, “Numb” has been an anthem for misfits and outcasts since its release back in 2003. Combining wistful lyrics and a powerful music video, it stands out in the band’s catalogue for its ability to spark a conversation, while also just being incredibly enjoyable to listen to. Which is probably why it’s so popular with karaoke fans and Millennial listeners alike.

3. Numb/Encore

Bringing major mainstream credibility to their already stratospheric presence on the early 2000s music scene, rapper Jay-Z lent his voice to this “Numb” remix and the rest is history. Winning the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2006, “Numb/Encore” combines thoughtful lyrics and a unique take on a familiar sound that still strikes a chord with karaoke audiences to this day.

4. Crawling

“Crawling” was really Chester Bennington’s time to shine. One of the few tracks on Hybrid Theory to not feature Mike Shinoda’s raps, it still managed to resonate with listeners who could relate to the sorrowful pitch and keening-like delivery of Bennington’s strong lyrics. And for that, it’s a major track to tackle at karaoke.

5. What I’ve Done

Combining piano, drumline, heavy guitar and hip-hop, “What I’ve Done” is perhaps one of Linkin Park’s most signature tracks. Several iconic music videos were created for the 2007 release, and it was included in the film Transformers, earning the group a wider audience than ever before.

Taken from 2012’s Living Things album, “Castle of Glass” leans more electronic and folk than previous tracks but is no less a crowd-pleaser. Definitely a worthy track to include on karaoke night.

8. One Step Closer

This was the track that introduced Linkin Park to the world: their first single from their first album – and it’s no wonder they took off from there. “One Step Closer” is a highlight in the band’s roster for so many reasons, but mainly because it perfectly captures the harmony of Mike Shinoda’s slick raps with Chester Bennington’s screaming vocals. It remained the final song of every Linkin Park concert for years, because why not send everybody off into the night on a high note?

9. Faint

One of the band’s most iconic, not to mention one of the most covered, tracks, “Faint” is an particularly incredible live song, as evident by the crowds who screamed for it during every concert post-2003.

10. Lost

Written and recorded during the Meteora-era, “Lost” wasn’t officially ready to be featured on the 2003 album. But for its 20th anniversary release in 2023, Shinoda felt it important to include the shelved track as an homage to Bennington, who had died 5 years earlier. “Lost”, as one can imagine, is a haunting, hard rock track that holds strong meaning to Linkin Park fans.
