It's about time to take a look on the bashing 2022 karaoke songs that came out during the year. Our list of "The best karaoke songs 2022" is mainly following the indicator of how many times the song was sung in the ~1000 Singa powered karaoke venues during the first half of 2022, but with some editorial eye — we've left out many Nordic songs because of their location-bias boost on Singa (shoutout to Melodiefestivalen songs, and Jezebel by The Rasmus!). So, the top 50 list is not a direct popularity ranking, but it's close to it.

Highlights — which 2022 releases made an impact?
Singa's top karaoke songs of 2022 is a bulletproof pop hit list. So who has made it to the lips of karaoke singers during the first half of the year? At least Harry Styles, Doja Cat and Ed Sheeran — all of whom have 3 songs or feats in the top 50. Ed Sheeran may be unofficially labeled as the karaoke chart king, as the songs of the English heart-warmer made it to places #3, #5, and #14. However, Harry Styles' mellow and sweet pop song As It Was takes the prime spot, being the most sung 2022 song in our karaoke venues. Congrats, Harry!

The list is heavy on pop songs, but we got some good old rock'n'roll (ehm, good new in this case) to climb high in the charts. Karaoke audience's favorite Måneskin with their 2022 single Supermodel is on the 4th spot, and songs by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, and Imagine Dragons made it to the top 20.
