Quintessential karaoke begins with a Q. Queen, that is. The flamboyant glam rockers turned anthem-thumping pop balladeers, led by the late Freddie Mercury. Catchy? Yes! Popular? Yes! Whether she’s herding all the Single Ladies to the dancefloor or blowing everybody out of the water with her power ballads, Ms. Knowles-Carter is one of the most popular karaoke artist choices.

There was a time not too long ago when it felt like Rihanna was single-handedly responsible for churning out every single pop and dancefloor hit on the radio. And that's probably because… she did. She may be taking her time to release new music nowadays, but a Rihanna banger at karaoke will always get the feet on the floor.

The man in black is back on our list.
